Remembering 9/11/01

Hi everyone, I thought I would take a few minutes and talk about September 11, 2001. It was a day that none of us will ever forget. At the same time, something came from this tragedy that has gone on to further define who we are as a Nation. We saw some horrible things that day and some of us were personally touched by the effects, but the real story is the positivity and bravery it brought out in so many people. There’s a selfless class of citizens among us who would not think twice about running into the danger to help someone they don’t even know. They understand what their job may ask of them one day, to give the ultimate sacrifice, and yet they don’t flinch at the idea of it. They would lay down and die, leaving their families to grieve and struggle, just to save you and me. These people are the cops, the firefighters, the first responders, the military service men and women, and they’re all walking beside us every day. They’re not doing it for the paycheck(I can tell you that their salaries are disgraceful for what they must endure) or for glory. They do it because they have a real sense of honor and selflessness that few of us have. Let’s remember to thank these heroes today. Buy them lunch, pick up their groceries, fill up their cars with gas. If you can’t do any of this, simply thank them. Shake their hands and let them know that there’s still the majority of us who appreciate what they do. These people are the real Patriots. Honor them. If you belong to any of these groups, either active or retired, email us anytime this week and we’ll give you 50% off of anything we sell. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
